Refund Policy
Effective October 25, 2026
This policy explains when you can get your money back for a Say the Date pass. It is part of our Terms of Service.
What you pay for
A pass (such as the Celebration Pass or Wedding Pass) is a one-time payment for one event. It is not a subscription, so you are never charged again automatically. The full price is shown before you pay, with no extra fees added by Say the Date.
When we give a full refund
- You were charged more than once for the same pass.
- You paid, but the pass was not turned on for your event and we can't fix it.
- A problem on our side stopped your invitation or RSVPs from working, and we couldn't fix it in time for your event.
- You ask within 7 days of paying and your event has not been published yet.
When we usually can't refund
- After your invitation has been published and shared, because the service has already been delivered.
- If your event is cancelled or moved. You can update the date and details on the same pass instead.
- If the event was paused or removed because it broke our Terms.
Features marked "Coming soon" are not part of what you pay for today. If you bought a pass mainly for a feature that has not launched yet, email us and we will look at it fairly.
How to ask
Email support@saythedate.com from the email on your account. Tell us the event name and the payment reference number. We reply within 5 working days. Approved refunds go back to the same payment method through our payment provider; how long it takes to show depends on your bank or e-wallet.
Money between hosts and guests
Cash gifts, contributions, tickets and donations that guests send to a host go directly to the host. Say the Date never receives that money, so we can't refund it. Please contact the host.
Your rights
This policy does not take away any rights you have under Philippine consumer law.
